Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu, APGA senatorial candidate for Anambra south constituency in the next Saturday August 16th Anambra south senatorial seat by election has assured that he will ensure that all uncompleted projects initiated by late Dr.Ifeanyi Uba the former occupant of the seat who died on the seat will be completed as well as delivers effective representation if elected as a Senator.
Stating this as well as other things he said he will accomplished while addressing a world press conference organized by Nigeria union of journalists(NUJ) Anambra state chapter during the union monthly congress held at the union secretariat Godwin Ezemo press center Awka last week, Nwachukwu told newsmen that he is going to leverage on wonderful achievements of Gov. Chukwuma Soludo to serve his constituency diligently and effectively adding that he is blessed to have somebody like Gov.Soludo who he said has performed wonderfully well in Anambra state.
On his plans for the senatorial zone, he stated that he is going to adopt a policy of consultation before acting so as to be able to grasp the real problem of masses of the senatorial zone.he explained that he is going to introduce across parties consultation to make sure that everybody is carried along as well as have monthly consultation with the state governor, establishes constituency offices in every communities in the senatorial constituency to enable people bring their problem to him and accessibility.
Highlighting what he will do when he will be in the hallow chambers as a Senator, The APGA senatorial hopeful noted that his target is to work and and not to be a bench warmer .he stated that his priorities will be to pursue bills that will impact positively on his people.
Said the Senate hopeful,”I will pursue bills that will address challenges and welfare of women,not only this also problem of elders, indigents, unemployed youths etc,I also want to bring bill that will make various security agencies in states in the country to be under the control of governors in time of insecurity , I will also come up with something on erosion menace so that it will help ameliorate erosion disasters not only in my senatorial zone but also other areas in anambra state.”
