Group, Njagidi Foundation, has pledged full and unalloyed support for the re-election bid of Governor Charles Soludo, come November 8, 2025.
General Coordinator of the group, Hon. Sabastine Nwankwo, gave the assurance on Saturday, August 2, during a political rally organized by Anambra South senatorial zone at the Ekwulobia Township Stadium, Aguata local government area of the state, to endorse Governor Soludo’s second term aspiration.
Nwankwo also assured that the group will promote and support Hon. Emma Nwachukwu, who is the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) for the August 16 senatorial by-election in Anambra South.
“Njagidi Foundation is here to promote and support Governor Soludo’s re-election bid come November 8, 2025. This Foundation will help mobilize our people to support the governor,” he said.
“In Orumba South, for instance, we have 18 wards, and Njagidi Foundation is going to mobilize the entire LGA, and deliver the 18 wards to Soludo.
“The governor has done a whole lot to deserve second tenure. In my own town, Nwafija, from where the foundation originates, the town never had tarred road for the first time. It is Soludo’s government that gave us the first tarred road ever. From there, we can convince our people to support the governor.”
Nwankwo also noted that the CEO of the Foundation, Hon. Ekene Nwosu (Njagidi), will be coming out to represent Orumba South in the state House of Assembly in 2027, and said that the election of Emma Nwachukwu on August 16, and Election of Governor Soludo on November 8, will be test cases for the election of Njagidi to the state assembly in 2027.
Earlier in a communique read by Hon. Paschal Agbodike, member of the House of Representatives, on behalf of Anambra South political stakeholders, the group pledged their support for Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo for governor, and Chief Emma Nwachukwu for Senate; adding that the tasks ahead, however big, will be surmounted, and that Anambra South will deliver the two in their respective elections.
In his speech during the rally, which doubled as campaign flagoff for the Anambra South senatorial by-election, Governor Soludo thanked Anambra South political stakeholders, who organized the rally, and urged them to replicate the support come August 16, and November 8, when senatorial by-election and governorahip election respectively will take place.
