Nasarawa Government Bans Use Of Commercial Motorcycles, Tricycles

 

The Nasarawa State Government has temporarily banned the use of motorcycles and tricycles in the state to curb the spread of coronavirus that is ravaging the world.

This was contained in a proclamation order number four, twenty-twenty, signed and made available to newsmen by Governor Abdullahi Sule.

The governor also allowed only one passenger for private motorcycles in other parts of the state where there is no total lockdown.

He stated that the move has become imperative to protect the citizens of the State from the possibility of contracting the virus from infiltrators.

The governor disclosed that security patrols will remain intensified to ensure full compliance with proclamation, and all defaulters will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
