2023 elections: celibate prophet wants Nigerians to intensify prayers

Awka, July 17, 2022 Prophet Godfrey Gbujie, Ministerial Leader of World Zionist Union, South-East Nigeria has called for intensed prayers ahead of next year’s general elections.

Gbujie who made the call on Sunday in Awka said that Nigerians might witness surprises due the level of problems that would engulf the country.

“The level of problems we are recording now will be a child’s play to what we shall happen next year, let everyone pray and prepare because things might not be easy”, he said.

The 67-year-old celibate prophet from Akabuo Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo, noted that blood of the innocents killed and cries of millions deprived of justice are before God.

He said that since May 29, 1995 that the country had moved three steps backward due to sins, noting that everyone regardless of tribe and creed must join in the prayers.

Gbujie had before this year’s presidential primary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) predicted that former governor of Anambra, Mr Peter Obi would emerge the candidate of PDP.

But Obi later defected to the Labour Party where he is now flying the flag as presidential candidate, a situation the man of God expressed shock.

In a sudden swift, Gbujie said that Obi has strong spiritual forces backing his 2023 presidential aspiration.

“What is happening around Peter Obi ahead of 2023 presidential election is not ordinary and everybody especially those in authority should be very careful.

“I am saying this because nothing happens accidentally in the religious, economic and socio-political realm.

“The hand of God is behind what is happening around Peter Obi, especially the support from the youths.

“This calls for serious warning for those at the corridors of power, Obi, Alhaji Bola Tinubu and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and many others have been listed among actors to fulfill the divine plans for the country”, he said.
