EEDC Condemns Attack on OGIDI Facility By Unknown Gunmen

Management of the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company. (EEDC) has condemned the attack on his OGIDI district facility in Idemili North Council Area of Anambra state.

This was contain in a statement by the EEDC Head Corporate Communications, EEDC, Emeka Ezeh, made available to Newsmen in Enugu,

The electricity distribution company regretted the attack by yet to be identified criminal elements, claimed it leaves about 32 utility and operational vehicles burnt, including other assets and equipment within the premises.

The management however, expressed shock over what it described as reoccurring incident, which is happening at a time the company has invested so much to improve on its operations and transform the socio-economic landscape of the area.

EEDC Head of media disclosed that the arsonists forced themselves to gained access into the complex after attacking one of the security personnel, after inflicting several machete wounds on his head, but currently received treatment at the hospital.
