The Appeal court sitting in Akure has dismissed the appeal filed by the governorship candidate of the Peooles Democratic Party (PDP), Eyitayo Jegede against the reelection of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu
The five man panel upheld the judgement of the tribunal which validated the reelection of governor Akeredolu.
The appealate court said the appeal filed by Jegede lacked merit.
