Leadership of the NIGERIA Presidential project (NPP 2023) have commended the Governor of Ebonyi state, Dave Umahi, for relinquishing his membership of the major oppositon People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and joining the ruling All Progresive Congress APC.
This was made public in a statement made available to TVC News in Enugu, describing the step taken as a positive legacy that justifies their objective as political advocacy group championing power rotation to the South East Geo Political Zone come 2023.
According to Media and Publicity Secretary of the group, Tony Nwachukwu, they sought to know the constraints stoping the PDP National Convention Committee (NEC) from Convening, to delibrate on their demands on Zoning of their National Chairman & Presidential Candidate position to Northern and Southern Regions.
The group however called on the Governnors of Abia, Enugu and Anambra states to consider toying the line of their Ebonyi state counterpart, expressing hope in the ruling All Progresive Congress (APC) to zone their Presidential ticket to the South East Region.
