The House of Representatives has warned Ministries, departments and agencies of government to desist from tampering with the 2020 budget.
Its Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation, Aliyu Betara, handed down the warning in a statement on Friday.
The lawmaker was responding to reports that some MDAs were already adjusting their budget proposals to suit their needs following the downward review of the budget from N10.59 trillion to N10.52 trillion due to the dwindling oil prices as a result of COVID-19 outbreak.
