Enugu Discharges another two Covid-19 patients as state Records Three new cases.

Enugu state government has announced that another two out of the 8 active cases have tested negative for Covid 19 disease.

The state commissioner for health Emmanuel Ikechukwu made this public in a statement made available to Newsmen in Enugu, informed that the three new cases as reported by the NCDC are results of patients who entered the state illegally in the period of lockdown.
The cases are, a 25-year-old male who lives in Lagos, but came in through Ondo state, another is a 38-year-old male from Okpuje in Nsukka LGA who lives in Nassarawa state and the last is a 28-year-old Widow from Igbo-Etiti LGA, who lost her husband to Covid 19 in Lagos, she was reported to have tried to smuggle the husband corpse back to Enugu for burial despite the lockdown regulations.

Enugu state now has 15 confirmed cases in all, with 6 treated and discharged while other 9 active cases are currently receiving treatment at the state isolation and treatment centre.
